GB ♥ "Scream & Shout"

E depois de muita espera, enfim aconteceu a estréia do clipe "Scream & Shout" de Will.i.am ft Britney SpearsA primeira vez que eu ouvi a música, adorei o ritmo e do nada quando apareceu o icônico "Britney Bitch" foi a cereja do bolo!!! A música foi direto para meu celular e não consigo ouvir apenas uma vez!!!

GB ♥ Home Office

Se tem uma mas minha maiores paixões (além de blog, revistas e moda masculina) é decoração!
Adoro ir nessas lojas de decoração onde tem espaços assinados por arquitetos edesign de interiores e a Casa Cor já virou um dos meus passeios quase obrigatórios do ano!!!
Porém, diante de toda a casa planejada, tem um espaço que vem chamando minha atenção/desejo/mania no momento, o antigo escritório, agora se chama Home Office - aquele lugar lindo, na sua casa que tem todas as suas características e de fato tudo aquilo que você mais precisa (fora o closet né?).
Um dos sites que nos possibilita a visita na casa/escritório daquele nosso artista/editor é o The Conveteur e é com ajuda dele vamos conhecer e se inspirar em alguns home offices, com destaque as editoras do "Who What Wear" e Elle"

<span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>I wish I had one of those desks that has three sheets of papers on it, a gorgeous vase of flowers, and that's it. But, for better or worse, an enormous amount of paper and products passes through my office (stories, press releases, nine trillion samples to test) and I do try to read—or at least try it all—of it before passing it on. Peonies are my favourite flowers, and when they are in season I love having them at home and at work. They are so gorgeous! I love doing my own flowers, but my favourite florists in L.A. are Bloom & Plume and Botany.

The shoes are all vintage; the platforms are these amazing hand-woven shoes made in Mexico from the 1960s, and they definitely helped shape our pre-fall '12 collection in a major way. The ones on the end are vintage Dr. Scholl’s—super classic.

Conheça o “Home Office” de Lauren Conrad

I usually have luck at flea markets or The Way We Wore. The necklace in the center is one of my favorites and often makes appearances in paper crown lookbooks. It's an old hair barrette turned into a necklace. <span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>Three little letters help me: O.C.D. Truthfully I wanted to straighten up a bit before the shoot but didn’t have time; so this is what it looks like messy. That’s pretty sad. It stays organized by style but I usually like it to be color-coordinated as well. When I bought the house my closet had two tiny doors with too many blind spots so I had the whole wall torn down to make it as open as possible where it just becomes a wall of curtains when drawn. My motto is if you can’t see it, then you ain’t gonna wear it!

<span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>This 3.1 Phillip Lim bowtie was originally tan leather but I had it dyed bark brown because tan is not my color. I’ve worn it on “Fashion Police” and will definitely be wearing it again. I love color but I can’t live in too much because it would make me bonkers. My TV/Guest room is a colorful free-for-all full of the silly things that aren’t dignified enough for the rest of the house. I got the big bouncing ball at a Courrèges party during couture week in Paris when I worked at The New York Times Magazine. It actually has a real bottle of courrèges fragrance in it ! <span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>There were certain items that I always needed and was renting for photo shoots including tiaras, canes, bowler hats, bullet bras, high-waisted panties and of course top hats. So as an excuse to hunt for more things on eBay I decided to start buying those pieces. This hat is from the 1920's and is now absolutely trashed but I love the patina. <span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>The bow tie and flower are both Lanvin for H&M. The flower came with the launch party invitation and the bow tie was a birthday gift from my friend designer Magda Berliner. I wore the flower pinned to a motorcycle jacket for the Vivienne Westwood store opening party and someone asked me if it squirted water. I wore the over sized bow tie to the Richard Phibbs book party at the Double RL store and someone asked me if it spun around and another if it had a hidden camera in it. <span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>I must confess that I have a lot of Margiela pieces. I like their amazing colors. Those sneakers are pure creativity but at the same time, it feels like I’ve had them all my life.
I am a big fan of these photos that my wife brought back from LA. Michael Jackson, so stylish! You also have Bowie, Simon & Garfunkel, Yoko Ono and John Lennon. They have all been taken during the 1977 Grammy awards. The looks are incredible. Then you have a picture of Richard Avedon with Francis Bacon: pure modernity.

<span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>I went through this phase of wearing scarves tied around my head when I had long crazy hair and lived in California...my little cousin used to actually tell his classmates he had a pirate for a cousin! I became obsessed with these scarves when I lived down the block from Maxfield. They would literally get in a new style every other week and I would be there first thing to get the best choice of color. I got the suitcase from the Brooklyn Museum when they hosted a Murakami retrospective and actually set up a miniature Vuitton boutique within the museum. It was too good to be true. <span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>The Indian Guide badge was a gift from my darling pal, Georgiana. The belt buckle was a vintage find from my time living in Nashville, TN. The plaid button is a great find from the Market in NoLita. The luggage tag came off of my favorite roller luggage from Italy when the handle broke (it is being fixed now). Last but not least, the briefcase was my father's first when he founded his first venture, a wireless company in the MidWest. <span class='fancyPhotoDesc'>The satin bowtie is Brooks Brothers. The mini-house was a collaboration with my father where we made mini-rooms to display in random spots in several rooms of our house in Florida during the Holidays (the mini-Christmas tree and decorations come out each Thanksgiving!).

The book was a gift from my boyfriend, Jeff---- Kim, by Rudyard Kipling, is about a boy who is the embodiment of colonial India which was my inspiration for Fall 2011.
